Doja Cat is the perfect example of how biracial people, white people, and other non-black people tend to treat Blackness as if it’s a Halloween costume.
They think it’s cool and fun to be Black, but don’t want to deal with the psychological baggage that comes with being Black. However, Blackness isn’t a costume for Black people. We have to deal with our harsh realities 24/7.
Also, a tweet surfaced of Doja Cat saying, “Thinking about being Black can make any sensible person depressed. Like think about it. Wouldn’t being white make so much sense. Life would have VALUE.”
Yet, she just issued a phony apology stating that she’s proud to Black. Oh, yeah? Well, I‘m not buying it. I believe she just enjoy wearing the “BLACK COSTUME” because now, it’s profitable and beneficial for her.
For decades, Black society has been suffering internally due to people with dual allegiances. So, there is a NEW RULE for biracial people, Black immigrants, and Black others. If you’re not BLACK FIRST, then you’re NOT BLACK. If you switch sides, STAY over there.
